I have been drinking this rum for about 5 years now. Tried it on a whim while I was in Florida. It has become my favorite as I do drink and have tried many rums. You can enjoy it neat, or with 1 large ice cube. It is my personal opinion, but of all the Dominican rums I have had, this one outshines them all. Paired with a cigar and its pure heaven!

I had a chance to experience Bacoo 12 Year while traveling. It was so delicious I decided to purchase it directly from Bacoo. It is beautifully balanced with a wonderful aroma. I like it so much I actually gift it to others.

Having never had BACOO Rum, I was fortunate to be at a Spirits festival, where I could taste 3 of them side by side. I was immediately impressed by all three, but since I prefer to have a rum I can sip outside of a mixed drink, the 12 year was my preferred choice. The smoothness with almost no burn and a sweet taste of vanilla and other spices drove me to order several bottles the very next day. It does not disappoint.

BACOO 12 year aged...
So a while back I tried the Coffee Flavored BACOO; not bad, as I like to sip a little in the evening. When BACOO came around with a FREE shipping offer I ordered more of the Cafe and a bottle of the 12 year. It too is pretty good; a bit bold but very smooth! I will probably sip this one as well, as there are not many mixed rum drinks I care for. This is pretty good stuff, and I hope they are able to start selling BACOO in some of our local stores one of these days.
